OnePlus has recently released the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. While the Open Beta program has been well received, users are already reporting a lot of issues in the build.

Many bug reports are swarming the OnePlus community which is also the point of any beta program. Now, the OEM can refine the Oxygen OS 11 update so that a highly stable and optimized version reaches users.

Some of the common issues include freezing and reboot, green tint with 60Hz refresh rate, unable to install certain apps like OnePlus Gallery and more, Spotify playlist queue visual glitch, Music does not play when screen is off, and missing icons for certain settings options.

Apart from these, there are the cropped events notifications on the lockscreen and Messenger bubble issues. Users have reported that the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1 freezing issue is persistent even after software updates and hardware replacements.

Users are reporting that the green tint issue is quite prominent with 60Hz refresh rate and lower brightness, however, it is not present with 120Hz refresh rate. It must be noted that OnePlus has changed the display color calibration in OxygenOS 11 which might be the cause of tinting issues.

Moreover, the Messenger bubble remains stuck at the bottom left or bottom right corner while videos get darker when the bubble is opened. A OnePlus community moderator has acknowledged these issues and has also assured that the developers are working on fixing them.

We have made a note of this and our developer team is currently working on this. We will keep you posted regarding the further updates. We appreciate your support and patience in this regard.
