OnePlus has been pretty forthcoming with bug-fixing updates and many of the issues that have been cropping up have since been ironed out.

But we’re still talking about a pretty major software update and there are always going to be issues and bugs afflicting device owners.

According to these affected users, when this happens, the only way to recover the device is by force-restarting as they are unable to unlock their devices using either a PIN or the unavailable fingerprint.

Woke up my screen and noticed this irritating error. This happened on several occasions. Couldn’t unlock via fingerprint or pin. Had to restart everytime in order to resolve it. This is a major issue which needs to be resolved asap.
