The Open Beta program of OnePlus has been pretty consistent for years and it’s meant to make willing users experience the latest features the OEM is working on ahead of the rest.

Users can flash the Open Beta builds on their OnePlus phones and try out the new features and enhancements before the company makes them available in the bi-monthly stable release.

OnePlus has recently announced a revised Open Beta plan where the OEM will now push only a single open beta update per month instead of two.

The company recently made new Open Beta updates available, that is, Open Beta 15 for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro and Open Beta 5 for the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, which mentioned the addition of one-handed mode in the changelog.

However, OnePlus 7/7 Pro and OnePlus 7T/7T Pro users who installed the respective Open Betas on their phones revealed that the said “one-handed mode” is not available in the update.

And OnePlus has acknowledged this error with their changelog and has now shared the correct changelog which depicts the actual changes that the respective Open Beta updates bring in for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series.

Notably, the OnePlus 7 one-handed mode feature has been taken down from the changelog. Here is the correct changelog of the Open Beta 15/5 update for the OnePlus 7/7T series phones, shared officially by OnePlus:

Not only this but one OnePlus staff member has also stated that the OnePlus 7 one-handed mode was unintentionally mentioned in the OnePlus 7/7T series Open Beta 15/5 changelog and it will be added in the next Open Beta build.

Here is what the official comment reads:

Quick Update:
One-handed mode feature is not included in the current build. It was unintentionally mentioned in the changelog, sorry for the inconvenience. The one-handed mode feature will be added in the next build.
Thanks.
