Some Old School Runescape players not getting their additional bank slots, bug acknowledged

Old School RuneScape (OSRS) by Jagex has been a beloved game among its dedicated community since its launch in 2013.

The developers of Old School RuneScape introduced the Jagex Account system to provide players with additional perks and benefits. Extra bank slots, which allow users to store more items in their inventory, are one such benefit.

However, recent reports indicate that some players who hold Jagex Accounts, are encountering difficulties when it comes to receiving additional bank slots (1,2,3,4).

@JagexSupport I have made a Jagex account… and linked my 2 accounts and have use Jagex launcher and logged in.. still no bank space.. apparently the issue has been resolved but not for me ?

Logged in with my Jagex account through the launcher this morning. Opened my bank and it said I could get 20 more spaces if I upgraded to a Jagex account. I followed the “learn more” button and it ended with an error saying it couldn’t upgrade my account… Because it’s already upgraded.

Despite the assurances provided by Jagex, numerous players have reported not receiving the free 20 bank slots promised with their Jagex Accounts.

These players, who have invested time into the game, find themselves deprived of a benefit that was promised. Moreover, players who paid real money to buy Jagex Accounts in the hopes of receiving the perks feel betrayed.

Understandably, this has led to widespread disappointment, with players expressing their concerns and frustration on social media platforms.

I downloaded that launcher and made a jagex acc and imported all my characters, but I still only have 840 instead of 860 bank space?

Issue acknowledged

Fortunately, the support team has acknowledged the issue where some Old School Runescape players are not getting their additional bank slots and they are working to resolve it.

Jagex can win back players’ trust and prove their dedication to delivering the Jagex Account system’s claimed advantages by taking decisive action.
