Old School RuneScape is one of the most popular MMORPGs of all time. Developed and published by Jagex, the title was launched in February of 2013 and is based on the 2007 version of RuneScape.

It also has a mobile client known as Old School Runescape Mobile which was released in 2018. In the last few years, the developers have updated several aspects of the game and added new content that keeps players engaged.

Apple Pencil not working in Old School RuneScape Mobile

That said, recent reports from Old School RuneScape Mobile players suggest that Apple Pencil is not working after the June 22 update (1,2,3,4,5).

Some thought it was an issue with their device and tried reinstalling the app, using another Apple Pencil and switching devices but nothing worked.

I play a lot of OSRS on my iPad and using the Apple Pencil is really nice to use for precise clicking, however as of today my pencil has stopped working in the mobile app. Anyone know something I don’t?

After updating my client today to the new version my Apple Pencil (which honestly is what makes the game playable on the iPad) no longer functions. I’ve tried two different iPads and two different apple pencils both different gens and neither worked . I tried uninstalling the app which also didn’t help . Any feedback or help with this issue would be appreciated as I do a fair bit of mobile on my iPad and with my stylus working it has become difficult to do so on the larger iPad.

Thankfully, Jagex Support was quick to shed light on the issue and said Old School RuneScape Mobile developers are investigating the issue where Apple Pencil is not working.

Hello there! We are aware of this issue and are investigating it, thanks for your patience.~Theop

Unable to login to Old School RuneScape mobile client

As it turns out, many Old School RuneScape Mobile client users are unable to login to their accounts (1,2,3,4,5). This is really infuriating for those having multiple accounts.

I am having an issue logging into my android device. When I click log into RuneScape account it just says loading and then brings me right back to the main page. I have uninstalled the app and cleared the cache. It seems like a few people are having this issue. Hopefully there is an update or some type of work around soon. Thank you for any help in advance.

Is anyone else having log in issues since the update? Since the changes I get logged out when I hop worlds and it takes about 30 seconds to log in normally. This is on both runelite and mobile. On mobile (ios) I have to log out and go through the authenticator to hop worlds as it fails to log in more than once. I can’t seem to find a contact for support either, it just keeps looping me round FAQs which is great. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, the game developers are yet to acknowledge the issue. We hope Jagex takes a look at the problem and fixes it as soon as possible.
