Grab your phones! As some new updates are lined for a set of devices from various OEMs. Notably, Asus ZenFone 5, Realme 2, Realme Link app, T-Mobile LG V60, Redmi Note 9 Pro/9S, Mi Note 10, Huawei P40 and P40 Pro are picking up new updates.

To make things clear for our readers, the Realme 2, T-Mobile LG V60, and Redmi Note 9 Pro/9S, are getting the April security update. While ZenFone 5, and Mi Note 10 are grabbing February and March 2020 security patches, respectively.

And the Realme Link app and Huawei P40/Pro are getting optimization and bugfix update. Let us take a look at the updates one by one:

Asus ZenFone 5

The ZenFone 5 from Asus is picking up the February 2020 security patch update. The OTA arrives with version 16.0615.2020.126 and also brings bugfixes for Bluetooth audio codec and color differences issue on the phone.

Realme 2

The latest April 2020 security update is now live for the Realme 2 smartphone as well. The update carries version number A.66 and weighs in around 137 MB in size.

Apart from the security patch, the update also seems to bring in a fix for the call waiting not working correctly issue. The update will be arriving via OTA.

Realme Link App

The IoT device connectivity app from Realme, the Realme Link App is also getting a new update that fixes the issue of wrong weather unit display in the Realme Band.

One of the major US carriers, T-Mobile has now rolled out the April security patch for the LG V60 ThinQ variant. The update weighs in around 61.24 MB and is purely incremental in nature.

Redmi Note 9 Pro /9S

Xiaomi has now pushed the April security patchset for the Redmi Note 9 Pro (aka Redmi Note 9S ) globally. The update arrives with version number V11.0.5.0.QJWMIXM and is based on Android 10.

The update brings stability and improvements for the camera, adds condensed clock style, multi device control center, etc. for both the devices.
