NBC Sports app for Roku 'Sorry! We're having some trouble' error reported by some

However, lately, some have started experiencing streaming issues with the NBC Sports app for Roku.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9), multiple users are facing an issue where they get a ‘Sorry! We’re having some trouble’ error while trying to use it.

They are also disappointed to find out that the Phillies games broadcast is no longer available in their area. Notably, the issue first popped up in March this year and seems to have resurfaced recently.

It is not clear what is causing it. And sadly, one cannot get rid of this problem by clearing the app cache, uninstalling and reinstalling it, or restarting their Roku devices.

In addition to this, users also allege that the MSNBC app repeatedly shuts down and returns to the Roku home screen at the top of every hour.

And naturally, it’s quite aggravating to have to constantly click back and find the program they want to watch.

One of those impacted says that they cannot watch the dubs or Giants games even after logging out and back in with their TV provider. They also get an error message stating that the game is not available locally.

Another claims that they are able to use the app without any hiccups on their iPhone.

Those affected are now requesting the developers to fix this glitch as soon as possible so that they can enjoy watching live sporting events as they previously could.

Unfortunately, the NBC Sports team has not officially responded to the matter. But we are hopeful that they will acknowledge and address this issue soon.

Having said that, we will keep an eye on the issue where the NBC Sports app keeps getting an error on Roku stating ‘Sorry! We are having some trouble’ and update this story as and when we come across anything noteworthy.
