Call of Duty MWIII is once again facing criticism as players report increasing issues with the game’s storage system, the Acquisition Stash. The Stash is reportedly malfunctioning, and its limited storage space is not very effective.

The “Acquisition Stash” in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MWIII) holds items that play a vital role in achieving victory in MW3 Zombies, and they can only be crafted or stored inside one’s Stash.

Currently, players can only have a maximum of 10 item slots in their Acquisition Stash, which means it becomes very complicated for them, most of the time, to prioritize the best items they can go with.

Recent reports claim that many players are losing their stash when they perform an exfill or try to enter zombie mode. According to the account of one player, when they tried to exfill and prepare for the next match in loadout, they saw their entire stash was completely empty.

With the reports piling up and becoming more severe, the developers were quick to respond to the issue. In an official statement, they shared an update on the matter. According to the statement and the official Trello board entry, the team is currently investigating the issue. However, there are chances that even after the update, players may not get back all the items they lost in stash.

Not enough storage space

The glitchy nature of the stash is not the only grievance against it. According to many players, only 10 spaces in the stash are not enough at all. It is necessary for the stash space to be increased in the next update to make it more ‘effective’ according to the players.

But even after all the requests and heated criticisms, it seems there are no plans on the dev’s side to make any changes in the storage space system in the near future. However, it can’t be said for sure right now.
