EVO2022 or Evolution Championship Series is a gaming tournament where professional players compete against each other for prizes.

This year the gaming community was able to attend the tournament in person for the first time after the pandemic and MultiVersus was one of the most talked about games at the event.

The tournament was concluded on August 8 and MultiVersus players received a game code ‘EVO2022’ that they can use to claim rewards in-game but only for a limited time.

MultiVersus players unable to claim EVO2022 Banner and Icon

However, many MultiVersus players are reporting an issue where they are unable to claim the EVO2022 Banner and Icon rewards (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).

The procedure to claim these rewards is to first go to the redeem code page on the MultiVersus website and then enter code ‘EVO2022’. If you qualify for the rewards, they are sent directly to your Warner Bros. account.

Now, the issue is that once players enter code ‘EVO2022’ they get an error message that says the ‘code is invalid’ or ‘code already redeemed’ even though they never claimed these rewards.

I Entered the EVO2022 Code into the Multiversus Redeem site and i was told on the release of Season 1 today on Aug 15th that id receive it in my inventory. When i entered the Code it said that i had already redeemed the code so i was not worried. I launched Multiversus with the new season update and the banner and icon arent in my inventory yet

I’m trying to get the EVO2022 banner and avatar for Multiversus. Typing in the code on the website, it says it’s invalid. How do I redeem this? Help please. My account name is Prismadoll. I’ve been playing since open beta began.

Being a limited-time offer, some players are concerned that they might miss out on these rewards due to this issue.

Issue acknowledged

Luckily, Warner Bros. support didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and they have confirmed that the team is working to resolve it as soon as possible. However, there’s no ETA for the fix.
