Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 20, 2022) follows:

Developed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, MultiVersus is a free-to-play crossover fighting game that features iconic characters like Harley Quinn, Tom and Jerry, Superman, Wonder Woman and many more.

The game allows players to go against each other in intense multiplayer PvP modes. However, MultiVersus is currently in its beta stage and the early access can be claimed through Twitch Drops.

But according to recent reports, many PS4 and PS5 players are unable to claim early access to MultiVersus as the beta code is not working.

While some are unable to redeem the code at all, others are receiving a ‘PlayStation participation is not supported in all regions’ error message.

Was excited to play #multiversus on PS5 today and of course my code doesn’t work smh

Just typed the code into PS5 but nothing is happening. Nothing on my home screen or anything.

A user who claimed the Twitch Drop said they didn’t receive any access code and all they got was a message that said the game account is already connected.

But I didn’t get an access code or any other information and it just says my game account is already connected (which is true).

This is incredibly frustrating for the players who are interested in trying out the game before the official release.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros. has not yet acknowledged the MultiVersus beta code not working issue for PS4 and PS5 users. But we came across a potential workaround that might help you resolve the problem.

Potential workaround

Users who are unable to claim the beta code through Twitch Drops can try linking their Warner Bros. games account with their Twitch account again as this fixed the issue for a user.

We’ll keep an eye on this problem and update this article to reflect the latest developments.

Update 1 (July 21)

12:37 pm (IST): Some players are now reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) that they have finally received their beta code. This indicates that it will soon be available for more players who haven’t received it yet.
