Motorola Moto G100 came out in April 2021 with Android 11 out-of-the-box. Also, the smartphone packs flagship-level specs like the Snapdragon 870 5G SoC.

Apart from that, users can connect controllers like the Xbox Controller and more with the Moto G100.

However, users have been facing an issue with a couple of controllers from Nintendo and the device in question.

According to some reports, the Joy-Con and Pro Controller are not working with Motorola Moto G100.

Moreover, the controllers in question get connected with the Moto G100 but the lights keep on flashing and input from the controller does not get registered.

Basically, users are unable to use the Android navigation and play games that support the controllers on their Moto G100 unit.

It is unclear what the exact cause of this issue is but it is certainly inconveniencing Motorola users.

However, it is possible that this issue might get resolved in the future as it is already under review.

A Motorola forums admin has said that they submitted a bug report regarding this issue to the engineering team for review.

Thus, the Nintendo Joy-Con and Pro Controller might start working with the Moto G100 if it gets proper support for the controllers in the future.

This is because users were facing a similar issue with the Xbox controller and a recent report indicates that the controller is now working with the Moto G100.

However, this is still based on speculation as the Motorola forums admin has not provided much clarity on the matter.

Hopefully, Motorola adds the required support for the aforementioned Nintendo controllers to the Moto G100.

That said, we will report back with more details as and when they become available so stay tuned.
