Android custom ROM users would definitely be familiar with the name LineageOS. The latest iteration, i.e., LineageOS 17.1, is based on Android 10, and guess what? It is now officially available for a bunch of Motorola phones.

Namely, Motorola Moto G, Motorola G3 Turbo, Moto E, Moto X Play, and Moto G4 Play users can enjoy the latest Android 10 features via LineageOS 17.1 custom ROM.

It goes without saying that in order to install this official LineageOS 17.1 custom ROM on your Motorola Moto G, G3 Turbo, Moto E, Moto X Play, and Moto G4 Play phones, you need to have root access and a custom recovery like TWRP installed.

If we had to take the official route, then it is impossible to experience the latest Android 10 features on any of the above-mentioned phones because most of the devices were launched back in 2015, except Moto G4 Play which came out in 2016.

Here comes into play the open-source nature of Android OS which allows such older devices to enjoy the latest Android OS features via custom ROMs.
