Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 13, 2022) follows:

Minecraft is one of the most popular games of all time. It is a game where players can fully express their creativity in the form of constructions.

Through the Minecraft construction tools, players can create everything from a house to entire worlds. The game features a particular cubed and pixelated graphic style, ideal for all types of players.

Once you create a world in Minecraft, you can allow other players to visit it. For this, you must first save it to the game servers.

However, currently Minecraft servers are experiencing issues as player realms or worlds are not saving or resetting (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ,8).

Minecraft Realms not saving progress or resetting

According to multiple reports, many Minecraft players are losing all their realm building progress, which is not being saved to the game servers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ,8).

That is, after spending many hours working on their builds, players find that their progress was never saved when they log back into the game.

Also, it appears that the game is completely resetting previously built realms. In some cases, Minecraft is even resetting worlds or realms with months of work and progress behind.

Stuff from Realm disappearing.

So my girlfriend and I play on Java and we’ve had a realm for the last month with no issues. Today we played for about 3-4 hours then both got off and everything we did during that time disappeared…it’s like I was set back to when I first got online earlier that day.

Does anyone know some way to fix this and get back what we had accomplished? It was about 4 hours of work so it’s pretty frustrating.

Minecraft Realm keeps resetting world.

Hey y’all I need some help and can’t find anything online.

My Minecraft realm randomly changed to a new world once everyone logged off. We thought it was weird and just started playing in the new seed. We logged off again, and logged back onto the same new seed but without any of our progress.

Anyone know how I can fix it? Very frustrating and strange. Thank you in advance! 🙂

No official acknowledgment yet

The issue is frustrating many players who fear for the integrity of realms built over weeks or months. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a workaround to prevent the bug from occurring.

I’ve seen reports like this earlier today, but I haven’t found any solutions. Try looking for others with this issue and look in the comments for a solution. Hope this will help a little.

However, if you are one of the victims of the glitch, some players recommend taking a look at the backups of the affected realms (if any exist).

Or try looking in the backups of the realm.

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from Minecraft developers. We will update this story as events unfold.
