Some Microsoft Edge users have reported a glitch that is preventing them from accessing certain pages and files on the web browser (1,2,3).
The affected users say that whenever they open Edge, the startup page is briefly displayed and then a ‘Shell Page’ from the URL edgeservices.bing.com pops up.
After this, the ‘Shell Page’ goes into an infinite loading loop, displaying a ‘Just a moment’ message, leaving them stuck on a blank screen with a Bing logo.
Users also report seeing this bug while switching tabs in the browser, even after having been using it for a some time.
Every time my computer turns off, a tab goes to sleep, or I open window, it replaces that tab, sometimes ruining hours of work. I’ve tried Restarting to browser, restarting my computer, and messing around in settings, I even searched it up, but I cant figure out how to stop it. And then, when I tried to see what it was redirecting me to, it just sat there loading. ShellPage (bing.com)

This new page keeps showing up on top of the tab that I had open last time I shutdown my PC… It showed up the moment I opened up Microsoft edge… How do I get it to stop showing up?
