Microsoft Edge users have witnessed a splendid update that brings joy to the ones who like vertical tabs more than the conventional ones.

It’s been working without a flaw and barely has anything to complain about except one. The title bar occupies much of the screen space.

Even though our brain eventually gets used to it, it’d be appreciated if a feature to hide it makes its way to the browser.

Well, we have a flag that does the job without a hassle. There’s no need to be on a beta build as this flag can now be accessed on even the stable Microsft Edge as well.

Before moving forward, make sure the browser is updated to version 91 and then proceed with the mentioned steps to hide the title bar in Vertical Tabs on Microsft Edge.

Copy and paste this into the omnibox:

Vertical Tabs occupying a good portion of the screen on Microsoft Edge was the only thing stopping users from using this feature but it should work like a charm now.

On the other hand, the latest Canary build brings one more option of disabling the ‘Tab Previews’ and can directly be accessed from the browser settings.

Tab Previews are sometimes painful when hovering the mouse over the vertical tabs to jump onto a tab. There was no way to escape the preview but it is available now.

There are a few more features made available in Edge Canary, among them Desktop Sharing Hub.

Simply search this in the flags section to find and play with this feature. Once it has been enabled, Omnibox gets a new share icon that displays all available options to share.

Microsoft Edge has significantly improved and with all these improvements over peers, this browser continues to be the primary pick for some users.

We expect more flags to get enabled in the upcoming beta and stable updates. That said, we will keep tracking the developments and update here as soon as we have anything.
