MIUI 11 is the hottest topic if you are the owner of Xiaomi smartphones. The company, after achieving record-breaking sales in India during the festive season, is continuing with the rollout of the latest iteration of its Android skin.

And in recent development, Xiaomi has started the global rollout of MIUI 11 for two more devices i.e. the Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2. Notably, both the devices have already been served with the stable update MIUI 11 in China.

Matter of fact, along with the stable MIUI 11, this new update also packs in the September 2019 security update for both the devices. Let us take a look at the updates one by one.

Mi 6

The latest update for Mi 6 carries version number V11.0.3.0.PCAMIXM and weighs in about 771 MB for the OTA update. Moreover, the update brings in all the new goodies of MIUI 11 like app vault, game booster, new UI design, Mi Share, sounds of nature, and more.

To recall, the Mi 6 was launched in 2017 and packs in some decent the-then top of the line specs like Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4/6 GB of RAM, 3,350 mAh battery, dual-camera at the back, etc.

Mi MIX 2

Another 2017 device is receiving the latest 11th version of MIUI i.e. the Mi MIX 2. It carries the version number V11.0.3.0 PDEMIXM and weighs in about 1.7 GB in size. So make sure that you use a stable internet connection while downloading the update.

Talking about the update along with all the MIUI 11 features, it also adds in the September 2019 patch as well. Moreover, it shares the same changelog as mentioned above.

Once you have downloaded the update from the above link, go to Settings>>About Phone>>System update>>press the MIUI version logo 10 times>> tap on the three-dot icon at the top right corner and select Choose update package.

Locate the update package inside the ‘downloaded_rom’ folder of your internal storage and select the file to update manually. Happy installing!
