Madden 24 'Previous game is still being processed' error frustrating players for weeks

Several Madden 24 players are experiencing an issue where they get a ‘Previous game is still being processed’ error while trying to play a Head to Head season game.

The Head to Head mode is a great way to test and improve one’s gameplay skills, have fun, and earn rewards. However, some gamers are unhappy as they have been unable to play matches for the past few weeks.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple Madden 24 players are getting locked out of MUT Champions competitive mode.

They claim that they get an error as soon as they try to enter the event. The message states that their previous game is under processing by the EA servers.

Also, they are asked to wait for a minute before exiting and trying to enter again. However, even after waiting for a few minutes, gamers are unable to start a match and receive the same error.

Some claim that the issue has been persistent ever since one of their opponents disconnected abruptly from the match.

They also assert that the situation remains the same even after restarting the game and uninstalling and reinstalling it. Unfortunately, the problem affects players across multiple platforms and remains unresolved until now.

Those on Xbox have even tried playing a weekend league game before playing a MUT Champions match, but to no avail.

I’m on Xbox old gen, was 4 and 1 and won my last game on a last second fg. He didn’t pause glitch or anything weird at the end it just seemed like another regular win. Now when I go to seasons im still 4 and 1 and anytime I try to find a match it immediately pops up the previous game being processed pop up.

Additionally, players have also tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the EA support page. But sadly, they could not get their problem resolved.

A gamer claims that they have been locked out of the MUT Champions for the past five days. They are unhappy as they have already invested about $300 in forming their ultimate team.

Another player says that they cannot get rid of the bug even by changing the lineup. They contend to have tried creating a new one, but it just overwrites their old lineup.

Had this happen after a disconnect in mut champs. I’m getting the runaround from EA. I need help. It’s been 8 hours I’ve tried everything I can think of.

Those affected are now requesting the developers to fix this glitch as soon as possible so that they can enjoy the gameplay as intended.

A Redditor claims to have contacted customer care in this regard. They say that the EA support staff is aware of the issue and is currently working on fixing it. However, no ETA for the bug fix has been provided.
