Neowiz Games and Round8 Studio’s newly released Souls-like game, Lies of P, has reportedly been encountering severe crashing issues following the latest update.

According to player reports (1, 2, 3, 4), after the update introduced the latest set of patches, the game crashes very frequently.

Reports suggest that the issue is most prevalent when players attempt to load their save files or engage in boss fights.

The game reportedly crashes mid-game during boss fights, making an already challenging game even more frustrating.

Moreover, players have also pointed out that the Game Pass edition (1, 2, 3) of the game experiences more severe crashing.

So far, there are no apparent reasons for what is causing this crashing issue in the Game Pass edition.

To fix the Game Pass crashing issue, you can try the following workaround:

Solution for this is to repair and verify files in xbox app in manage for Lies of P, it will verify the files saying it’s installing and then after a few minutes it will finish. I tried opening the game after this and the load worked normally (Source)

Apparently, the solution is to repair and verify files in the Xbox app under ‘Manage’ for Lies of P.
