The new sandbox crafting game, LEGO Fortnite, is reportedly experiencing issues with its in-game beds. According to multiple reports, villagers can’t be assigned a bed in LEGO Fortnite, making it impossible for them to sleep. But worry not, here’s a workaround below.

LEGO Fortnite villagers bed bugs

In Lego Fortnite, players can create a bed for their character to rest and recover health. Once the Simple Shack is built, players need to go to Furniture > Beds and select the bed they want to place inside the shack.

After building a bed, players need to assign each bed to a respective player or NPC, known as the Villagers. However, reports claim that even after building a bed, players cannot assign one to their villagers.

This issue is causing some inconveniences in the game. Due to the inability to assign a bed, villagers can’t go to sleep, turning the issue into a troublesome one.

Official acknowledgement and workarounds

With reports piling up, the developers soon jumped in to do some damage control. Replying to one of the reports, the official support team shared a statement, acknowledging that the team is aware of the situation and actively investigating the issue.

Until the devs issue a solution, here’s a workaround:

According to one of the players’ reports, there is a potential way to solve the issue. Players need to break the beds and rebuild them. After rebuilding the bed, they may potentially be able to reassign the bed.

However, it’s a community-sourced solution, so the result may not be as intended.
