• Firstly, they need to destroy their village square structure and wait for all the villagers to leave.
• Then, they should create a new village square structure and start upgrading their village from level 1.

LEGO Fortnite players are reporting a new bug that has made it almost impossible for them to level up their villages. This is not the only issue, as multiple village-related issues have surfaced recently. Fortunately, the devs are aware of the situation with the villages.

LEGO Fortnite is a game that focuses on building and upgrading villages, complete with villagers, rather than just a single base. To start a village in LEGO Fortnite, players need to build a Village Square using 10 wood and 10 granite.

Once the Village Square is built, they can assign a color and symbol to their village’s map icon and start receiving rewards and unlocking new mechanics based on their village’s level.

Unfortunately, due to a new bug following the latest update, upgrading villages has seemingly become impossible. According to reports, no matter how much progress players make with their villages, they are not able to earn XP or level up.

This is not the first issue with the villages, as there have been reports claiming that the villagers are unable to perform tasks like opening doors or smelting metal. There have even been claims of absurd tree growth inside player-made structures.

With reports flooding social media, the official support responded to one of the claims, sharing that they have informed the team and are currently looking into the issue.

There has been no ETA or release date announced for a fix or update. However, according to a player on social media, there is a way to earn XP and level up villages until a fix is released.

According to the player, crafting lumber mills still provides XP, and through this, they were able to level up their village.
