Fortnite’s latest Minecraft-like crafting and exploration game, LEGO Fortnite, is reportedly experiencing crashes, freezes, and other performance issues due to poor network connection errors, with players also encountering a ‘disabled’ message. The developers have acknowledged the issue, and there may be some good news coming soon.

LEGO Fortnite network connection error

Fortnite has recently introduced its own survival crafting game to rival the likes of Minecraft and Terraria. LEGO Fortnite is a vast world inspired by the popular toy blocks, LEGO, where players can play solo or team up to create breathtaking crafts.

However, according to reports, players who are teaming up to play together are experiencing severe performance issues due to the poor network connection of the servers. Some players are experiencing game crashes or freezes.

Additionally, some players are encountering an error message stating, “we have hit a roadblock,” which indicates to the player that the network connection is not optimal. Furthermore, there is also a message that says, ‘disabled.’

The “Disabled” error message in LEGO Fortnite typically appears when a player attempts to join a LEGO world from the lobby while using multiple controllers or accounts on the same device.

Official acknowledgment and workaround

With reports piling up, the developers swiftly provided an update on the issue. While the other issues are still present, the developers have shared that the ‘disabled’ error is under investigation.

According to the statement, LEGO Fortnite does not support split-screen, so the solution is to reduce input and account usage to one controller and try again. If this does not work, switching to Battle Royale mode and exiting it, or restarting the device, could help.

Unfortunately, there are no statements or updates on the crash and freeze issues. Right now, if you witness these issues, raising a ticket could be an effective action, as it could be ideal to raise awareness of the problem and potentially motivate the devs to fix the issue shortly.
