Lego Fortnite players are reporting issues with playing the game due to increased freezing and crashing problems caused by two new bugs, one bug is causing crashes near caves, while the other is freezing the game with a message stating the area near the player is, “extremely high complexity zone, imminent departure from the world”.

Lego Fortnite Caves crash issue

LEGO Fortnite is a new survival crafting game that combines the magic of LEGO building with the world of Fortnite. Players can explore vast, open worlds, collect resources, craft items, and battle enemies solo or with friends.

However, in multiplayer mode, players are reporting increased performance issues and crashes when they are near caves.

According to the reports, players are getting instantly kicked out of the game when they try to enter a cave or mine. Some are shown an error message stating that a connection issue forced the game to stop.

After being kicked, when the players try to join the lobby again, they get spawned in the cave and wherever they try to leave it, they get kicked out, or the game crashes. This issue has been having serious effects on players.

Did Epic acknowledge the issue?

Many are raging on social media, stating that due to this issue, they lost a lot of progress. Despite the rage and numerous reports, there have been no official statements or updates from Epic regarding this issue.

Lego Fortnite High Complexity Area Bug

In addition to the Caves bug, another issue is plaguing the players. According to the reports, whenever a player tries to join a friend’s world, they encounter certain places on the map marked as “extremely high complexity zone”.

Whenever they reach a spot like this, the game kicks the player out with an “imminent departure from the world” error message. There is no explanation about what is causing this issue.

This issue primarily affects console players, but there are also reports of it occurring on PCs. Epic Games has not yet addressed this ongoing issue, and there is no guaranteed fix.

However, there are some steps you can try that may work:

  • Exit your world and rejoin at the lobby screen.
  • Close and restart LEGO Fortnite on your device.
  • Ensure a constant internet connection.
  • Turn your console or PC off and back on.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to start a new world in LEGO Fortnite. Launching a support ticket with the Epic developers can also help expedite the resolution of the issue.
