League of Legends: Wild Rift is the mobile version of the successful game. It is inspired by the same MOBA genre of the original game, but adapted to the touch screens of smartphones/tablets.

Having said the above, some techniques in the game that are not working properly. More specifically, the matchmaking and reporting system is frustrating many players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).

According to multiple reports, League of Legends: Wild Rift players are suffering from an unbalanced matchmaking issue. In addition to the above, the reporting system is ineffective in most situations.

The matchmaking system reportedly needs to be fixed. Apparently, it’s making the matches noticeably unbalanced and, in the end, the game isn’t really fair when assigning opponents to players.

The current matchmaking is forcing me not to play the game as it’s just not fun to do. To be clear, it’s not about win-lose, I don’t mind losing games while they are fair (I would prefer to lose the good game, rather win a one-way game).

About min 70-80% I got right now are carry games (so its golds-plats + 1 carry player). I’m main sup, and there is no reason to play such games when as a carry in the opposite team is jg/top, it’s just waste from the beginning.

Reporting system ineffective against toxicity/trolling

Another of the complaints from League of Legends: Wild Rift players is related to the reporting system. Apparently, although the option is there, it is really ineffective in most cases (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).

You desperately need to make our reports to the toxic players have some effect to them! The only case that our reports have some feedback and maybe consequences, is the AFK report but only when the system detects it! We don’t want toxic people at wild rift too!

The foregoing has the consequence that toxic or offensive players, in addition to abandonment during matches, do not receive a punishment. So, nothing stops these things from happening.

Riot Games team already aware

Members of the Riot Games team confirm that they are aware of the reported issues. They point out that the company constantly discusses feedback, although they cannot apply changes as quickly as they would like.

We’re super aware of the feedback. I don’t think our ability to listen is the problem here; I think it’s being able to act on it in a reasonable time. The dev team and I discuss player feedback every single day. Just because we’re not talking doesn’t mean we’re not hearing you.
