Later aware 'Publish Now' & 'Open in Instagram' options missing after latest iOS v6.11 app update

Later is a social media management platform that offers several tools to easily manage your social media accounts. It helps you plan, analyze, and publish content on different social media platforms to grow your business.

You can schedule your posts on TikTok and Instagram, boost Your Linkin.bio, and even get the data to analyze and optimize your content. Later is available on Android, iOS, and as a web app on Desktop.

Later has recently released a new update for its app on iOS with v6.11. It was aimed to bring some new features and bug fixes. But as it turns out, the new update did more harm than good.

Some Later app users on iOS are now reporting an issue where ‘Publish now’ and ‘Open in Instagram’ options are missing after the v6.11 update.

I am Having issues with auto posting all of a sudden. It has been 5 days now and I don’t have a option to post it is only giving me the option to save. Where is the option to post. I also keep getting a notification to post but when I go into the app it is only allowing me to save. Is there a glitch with the app? (Source)

Users say that they only get an option to save, while options to post and open in the Instagram button have been removed after the latest update.

Fortunately, the community manager didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and they confirmed that they have relocated the ‘Publish now’ button in order to make room for new features.

However, in a newer response, they have admitted that it was certainly a glitch and they are currently working to resolve it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

Regrettably, we haven’t come across any workaround that might help you resolve this issue. That means you’ll have to wait until devs come up with a definitive fix for the same.
