Jurassic World Evolution 2 keeps crashing on PlayStation 4, fix in the works

Jurassic World Evolution 2 recently arrived as the sequel to the park management game released in 2018. But, its first weeks of release have been very bumpy due to multiple bugs.

Many Jurassic World Evolution 2 players on PS4 are reporting that the game keeps crashing constantly. Therefore, they cannot progress beyond a certain point (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

According to the reports, Jurassic World Evolution 2 is constantly crashing on PS4 randomly. Although crashing is the main problem reported, there is another set of bugs that users are suffering.

Every time I find myself getting off the game, it’s always with a frown and a disappointed feeling. Whether it’s storms that last forever and prevent you from progressing, constant ps4 game crashes. Dinosaurs teleporting out of enclosures, every single dinosaur in my park dying at the same time and making me take 10 minutes to bring them back. At which point I already have gone bankrupt, or the really unpleasant new mvu system, I’m just not enjoying it.

In addition to crashes, the game reportedly suffers from situations such as dinosaurs teleporting, many dinosaurs dying at the same time, game stuck trying to transport dinosaurs, or broken aviaries that looks ‘normal’.

The game is really great and I absolutely adore it don’t get me wrong but they really need to fix a lot of the bugs. I got this bug where I airlifted a couple of Deinonychus from a hatchery but the Deinonychus just stayed inside the hatchery and the helicopters surround them. Also can’t destroy the hatchery or do anything so the game is just stuck there. I also got broken aviaries that look normal (pterosaurs just phase through the glass) and my game crashes whenever I have a couple of pterosaurs rampaging through my park (playing on PS4).

Most of the bugs reported would be happening in Jurassic Park Chaos Theory mode. The game crash would occur every few minutes, forcing to load a previous saved game.

The game’s development team officially confirmed that they are aware of the constant crashing on PS4. The issue is currently under investigation, and there is no ETA for the release of the fix.
