New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 6, 2022) follows:

Itwasu.com is a website that came out of nowhere and quickly rose in popularity primarily due to its deals that almost seem too good to be true.

The website’s key product is ‘The Puffer Case’ which was also used by the famous performer Dua Lipa.

The marketing material for the case features images of Dua Lipa holding it which attempt to add credibility to the otherwise shady offer.

What’s so shady about it? Well, to start with, it comes with a 100% discount for all first-time buyers.

Is Itwasu.com a scam or legit?

The free Puffer Case deal has led to many being skeptical of Itwasu.com’s legitimacy. Some users have already started calling the website a scam on social media platforms like Twitter.

What makes the entire thing even fishier is that the website asks customers to pay for the shipping in advance.

yeah its like 7.99 for me but i don’t mind paying that for a $40 phone case

According to Jordan Liles on YouTube, the website is most likely a scam that is using TikTok as its primary medium for marketing.

Jordan also shared the inconsistencies in the naming scheme of the product. While the header text on the Itwasu website calls it ‘The Puffer Case’, the actual images of the product call it ‘The Puff Case’.

Itwasu.com is also unavailable on social media platforms like Twitter, TikTok and Instagram. Having no social media presence is very uncommon for brands especially if they rely on these platforms for their marketing.

Making matters worse, Itwasu’s case looks exactly the same as the case from a brand named ‘The Puffer Case’.

Coming back to our original question, is Itwasu.com a scam or a legit website? In my opinion, the credibility score for the website is incredibly low at the moment and it is likely a scam.

The entire website is filled with some major red flags. First of all, the product is free but requires you to pay for shipping in advance.

The inconsistent naming scheme and similarities with the original ‘The Puffer Case’ further add to the long list of issues.

We recommend interested customers steer clear of the website in order to avoid being scammed or getting their financial details stolen.

We’ll keep an eye on this matter and update this story to reflect noteworthy information.
