Having said that, every other streaming app has a continue watching feature that showcases the list of all movies and shows that are not completed by users and they can simply continue the stream from there.

ITVX ‘Continue Watching’ not working

However, recently some ITVX users have noticed a glitch in the ‘Continue Watching’ feature recently. Many have reported that the feature is not working as expected.

According to multiple reports, the continue watching feature is either missing or not working properly. Here are some of them for reference:

New features? The features were there and then disappeared. When I logged onto ITVX through virgin box, continue watching was there now it’s gone. It’s still there on my phone. No idea why it changed on virgin, but it’s annoying (Source)

@ITVX why have you removed the ‘continue watching’ on the app? Very irritating having to re watch episodes as the app doesn’t remembers where you left off and no longer a ‘resume’ option. Altho, works ok on phone app? So irritating. Enough to make me stop watching ITVX!! (Source)

Some old reports suggest that this is not the first time users are facing this issue. It has troubled been here before as well.

As a result, people are having difficulties keeping track of their favorite shows and movies. This can be quite inconvenient, especially for those who enjoy binge-watching and want to pick up where they left off.

The good news is that ITVX is aware of this issue. They have acknowledged the problem and assured users that their technical team is actively working on a solution.

Unfortunately, we haven’t come across any workaround that can temporarily fix this problem. Hence, those affected can only wait for devs to fix it.

Rest assured, we will keep track of this issue and inform you as and when anything noteworthy comes to our notice.
