As per reports, the Wi-Fi and cellular icons are missing from the status bar. As a result, users only get to see a battery indicator and time on the top.

And this is happening when the device is locked and even when it’s unlocked or is in use. Below are some reports (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) from those affected:

What makes this problem particularly perplexing is its sporadic nature. Some users have noted that the icons seem to be appearing and disappearing randomly. This intermittent annoyance has left users frustrated.

Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t yet acknowledged the problem, but luckily, a simple reboot appears to have worked (1, 2) for some users in resolving this glitch. Hence, those affected can try it out and see if it helps.

We hope that Apple acknowledges and fix this behavior as soon as possible. And when they do, we will let you know by updating this article.
