Instagram ‘This song is currently unavailable’ error when viewing a Story? You’re not alone

Some Instagram users are now reporting that they are getting ‘This song is currently unavailable’ error when viewing a story.

If you’ve been scrolling through Instagram Stories and found yourself puzzled by songs not playing, you’re not the only one.

This isn’t anything new, Instagram users have come across a similar issue in the past where songs or audio on reels is unavailable or doesn’t work.

Many Instagram users are encountering an issue where songs fail to play when they view someone’s Story.

Users say that they get a small pop-up at the bottom of the screen with an error message. Here are some reports for reference:
