Owned by Meta, Instagram is a social media platform where users can share photos and videos similar to Facebook. The app allows people to upload media and share it with the people they want to.

You can also browse and like photos and follow others to view their content. With somewhere around 1.4 billion users, Instagram is the fourth most popular social media platform on Earth.

However, many recently complained about the ‘Add Yours’ Chain Story sticker not working while some said they were seeing a location error message when trying to use Instagram filters.

And now, Instagram users are reporting that they are getting a ‘feedback_required’ error message when logging in. Many are seemingly frustrated since it is preventing them from accessing their account (1,2,3,4,5).

People say they tried force-stopping and reinstalling the app but the problem persists. You can see in the image below what the error looks like.

Here are some reports from Instagram users who are unable to log in to the platform and are getting ‘feedback_required’ error message.

Can’t log into my account. I can’t log into any of my accounts and receive a “feedback required” message with very little to go off on. Previously tried to log in with fb and I guess it backfired or it got sus of me and just won’t let me log in anymore (both on web and iPhone) anyone know the solution to this?(Source)

I keep getting error feedback required when I try to log in. How do I make this go away? Basically idk if insta thinks I’m “spamming” but I have 2 accounts. A personal one and one that is not personal. The one one that is not personal I use it everyday. I’ve been using it to add a bunch of other people (that are helping me create this local event about a month away that is in person). idk if insta thinks that’s spammy bc I’ve been adding numerous accounts for 2 days to this group chat and some of the other people have been adding other insta accounts to the gc for this event in June too.

Unfortunately, we are yet to come across any official word from Instagram on the matter. We hope the developers soon find out the reason why users are getting the error message and fix it at the earliest.

When they do, we will be updating this space to reflect the same so make sure you stay tuned for more information.
