Instagram is one of the most popular social media used by millions of people across the globe.

The company frequently introduces changes to its platform, by adding new features or improvising the existing ones with the aim of making the platform more useful.

Recently, the Broadcast Channels feature was introduced which allows content creators to deepen connections with their followers in a new way.

Also, this feature has been rolled out to more users, but some are unhappy due to frequent invite notification pop-ups.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple users are getting annoyed by the ‘Broadcast channels’ invite notifications that seem to pop up time and again.

Some are even getting confused as they don’t have any information about the newly introduced feature.

Due to this, the platform users are frustrated and annoyed and have taken to the web forums to express their views on the same.

An Instagram user claims that they have got about 1700 annoying ‘Broadcast channels’ notifications, which is quite irritating for them.

Another user alleges that repeated notification alerts are affecting their smartphone’s battery levels.

Some have even questioned the point of such repeated notifications if they are not interested in joining any of the broadcast channels.

Those affected are now requesting Instagram to introduce an option that will help them in disbaling all such annoying invite notification alerts in one go.

We do hope that Instagram will listen to the demands of the users.

01:47 pm (IST): Many users are still getting troubled by the Broadcast channel invite notifications. However, now there’s a way to turn it off. You can do it by going to Settings > Notifications > Messages.
