Hunt: Showdown reload bug continues to trouble players, here's what we know so far

Hunt: Showdown is a shooting game that places players in an open world where they fight against AI-controlled enemies and other real players.

It recently introduced a legendary hunter, The Infected, that can be unlocked by watching certain Twitch streamers for up to 180 minutes.

While this is certainly exciting for players, the game still has some wrinkles to iron out.

Many Hunt: Showdown players (1,2,3,4,5,6) have been reporting an issue that they are unable to reload their guns.

Please any information that you are working on the reload bug? Its the Most annoying one and should have a Higher priority than the weapon charms 😅

@HuntShowdown FYI, the reload bug you said you fixed. Isnt fixed. In addition to that, theres a new bug where you reload, fire, do no damange and it refunds you the bullet….

The bug is preventing players from reloading weapons and even if they get reloaded, empty or blank shots are fired.

While in other cases, it doesn’t reload the guns at all. The game just displays the reloading animation on loop but it never really starts.

The last Update 1.10 came with a fix for some reload-related issuese but they do not seem to have made a difference.

the reload bug they said they “fixed” in the patch notes is still in the game, and now theyve made it worse in that if you somehow actually get the gun to reload. youve essentially loaded a blank that will fire, do no damage, then refund you the bullet.

Players are quite frustrated as this bug is basically making the entire game unenjoyable.

The developers have announced the Hotfix #1 that is expected to drop on October 18, 2022 at 6pm CST but there’s still no mention of a fix for the reload bug.

We hope that the issue with Hunt: Showdown not reloading guns gets fixed soon.
