Hulu, one of the leading streaming platforms, has garnered a loyal user base with its vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content.

However, in recent weeks, an increasing number of Hulu users have reported a baffling issue where the ‘Continue Watching’ option has gone missing.

For avid Hulu users accustomed to picking up right where they left off, the sudden disappearance of the ‘Continue Watching’ feature has caused a significant disruption in their streaming experience (1,2,3,4,5).

@hulu my “continue watching” is gone, again. I’m so tired of having to do a search for a show I’ve watched for 3 seasons. Continue watching should stay near the top.

Without this feature, subscribers are left scrolling through the vast content library. Now, they have to manually find and resume their favorite shows or movies, which can be time-consuming and frustrating.

Users have taken to social media platforms to express their concerns about the missing ‘Continue Watching’ feature. Previously, this feature troubled a section of users as it stopped working for them.

Owing to this issue, some affected users are now claiming to switch to other platforms.

Official acknowledgment

In response to user complaints, Hulu has acknowledged the issue and assured them that their team is actively investigating the matter.

It was also claimed by the support team that the option is still there. But now, users have to scroll down on the Home page a bit.

However, a number of users are criticizing the new placement of the feature and want the developers to put it somewhere on top of the screen (1,2,3,4).

We can now only hope for the Hulu team to reinstate the missing ‘Continue Watching’ option to its previous position. As the team continues to rectify the issue, affected users are encouraged to stay patient.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.

05:50 pm (IST): Hulu support team has recently announced that it is currently investigating the problem. Those affected have also been asked to provide their feedback via phone or chat.

11:30 am (IST): The Continue watching option appears (1, 2, 3, 4) to be back for some, however, its still missing for majority of users.

12:03 pm (IST): Some users are reporting that My stuff is also missing for them along with Continue watching. More on that here.

09:40 am (IST): There have been reports that more users are starting to see their ‘continue watching’ tab restored to its previous state. This suggests that a fix may be being rolled out gradually, but this has not yet been confirmed yet.
