When it comes to smartwatches, Huawei is among the list of brands that one prefers to go for. Moreover, a lot of new smart wearable devices have been added to this portfolio, the latest one being the Huawei Watch GT 2.

Talking about some specs, the device packs in a 1.39-inch and 1.2-inch AMOLED display for 46mm and 42mm Watch GT 2 models respectively. It has features like GPS support, Bluetooth 5, accelerometer, optical heart rate, and gyroscope sensor, etc.

In addition, it is compatible with Android 4.4 and iOS 9.0 or later versions. Huawei Watch GT 2 is also water-resistant at a depth of 50 meters for up to 10 minutes a time. It packs in 4 GB internal space and 16/32 MB RAM for 42mm and 46mm variants, respectively.

Moreover, in a recent development, Huawei has pushed in a new bugfix update for the Watch GT 2 that tags along with fixes for Bluetooth, GPS and heart rate display.

Notably, the device already got an update at the beginning of this month that enabled the NFC support for the global units. This was one of the features that were long-awaited.

Now coming back to the latest update, it brings in version number 1.0.2.38 and 3.90 MB in size. Below is the official changelog along with the screenshot of the update prompt shared by one of the users:

The update is being pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can manually check for the update by heading to About>>Update Software.
