Chinese tech giant Huawei launched the flagship Mate RS Porsche Design last year in partnership with the renowned sports car manufacturer, Porsche. The splendid design of the device caught attention of tech enthusiasts all over the world.

Along with a great design, the phone also packs some great under-the-hood specs, like the Kirin 970 processor, 4000 mAh battery, 22.5W fast charge, and yes, a whopping price tag of $1,279 too.

As we highlighted in a recent coverage, among the Mate series, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Design and Mate RS Porsche Design were in pipeline for EMUI 9.1. While Mate 10 and its Pro edition got the experience EMUI 9.1 recently, both Porsche Design devices were kept gawking.

But that changes now, as EMUI 9.1 is reportedly hitting the Mate RS Porsche Design units.
