Finally, Huawei has started seeding EMUI 10.1 stable update for Huawei Mate 20X 5G and Mate X. This new update is currently live for users in China and is bundled with tons of new features.

Notably, this EMUI 10.1 update is based on Android 10 and brings in additional features to the devices. Huawei Mate 20X 5G EMUI 10.1 update brings Distributed Gallery function, which allows the users to find and share images, quickly.

It also supports cross-device picture access on a secure wireless network. Huawei Mate 20X 5G users also get Always on Display feature, enhanced dark mode, and upgraded system performance.

Shifting over to Huawei Mate X EMUI 10.1 stable update, it arrives with features like Screen Sharing, Distributed Gallery for fast image sharing, multi-screen function, and much more.

Note that these updates for Huawei Mate 20X 5G and Mate X have been pushed via OTA in batches. So, it will take some time in hitting all the units.

If you have not yet received an update notification for this EMUI 10.1 update on the aforementioned devices, then you can head over to Settings>>System>>About Phone>>Software Updates and check for the update notification.

Now that EMUI 10.1 update is available for Huawei Mate 20X and Mate X smartphones, the next question would be whether the duo will pick up the Android 11 EMUI 11update or not.

As per our Huawei Android 11 Eligible devices list, the duo is expected to get updated with the latest OS. Well, premium phones from Huawei get at least two major OS updates. This gives room for one more Android OS update, i.e. Android 11 (EMUI 11), to make its way to the Mate 20X 5G and Mate X.

However, we would remind our readers that this is not an official list. So, take this piece of information with a pinch of salt. We will keep you updated if anything related to this comes across our table.
