How to get the strongest weapon in Baldur's Gate 3: Electrified Flail

Larian’s RPG masterclass, Baldur’s Gate 3, is filled with amazing gear and weapons that let the player unleash devastating power on their enemies. However, in ACT 3 of the game, there are some of the strongest weapons in the game that could almost break the game, but none of them come near the hidden weapon ‘Air Myrmidon’s Flail’ in terms of raw power in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The ‘Air Myrmidon’s Flail’ is a weapon that is technically not supposed to be acquired by the players. This weapon is only supposed to be used by the Air Myrmidon summons or by the Druids in their Air Myrmidon form.

However, there is a secret method for the players to obtain this weapon. But even if it’s obtainable, it is still a ‘not usable’ weapon that is not supposed to be used by the players, which is why the weapon doesn’t have an attack animation and may cause the game to break at times.

1. Firstly, players need to proceed to ACT 3 of the story and be at least level 10 to increase their chances of success.
2. In the city of Baldur’s Gate, players will come across a sorcerous sundries store where they can find many powerful items on sale and a wizard named Lorroakan.



3. To obtain the flail, players need to fight Lorroakan and his Myrmidons.
4. After killing the wizard and his summons, players need to head back to their camp and take a long rest.
5. Upon returning to Lorroakan’s study, players will find all the Myrmidon’s corpses gone, and pouches in their places.
6. By looting the Air Myrmidon pouch, they will find the ‘Air Myrmidon’s Flail’.

The real power of the ‘Air Myrmidon’s Flail’ comes from its ‘Electrified Flail’ ability. Although the damage output of the item is not very good, the ability on it makes it a devastating weapon.

The ‘Electrified Flail’ ability inflicts additional electric/lightning damage and has a chance to ‘stun’ the enemy. The ‘Stun’ condition means the enemy is restricted from taking action for a turn.

This ability, combined with the fighter class with multiple attacks, means that there is a chance that the user will stun the enemies in each turn, making it almost impossible for them to make a single move in combat.
