Workarounds to try until devs fix Diablo IV potent blood fountain bug

Diablo IV players are reporting a new bug where the potent blood drops at the center of the fountain, making it impossible to pick up. Reportedly, this issue has surfaced following patch 1.2.2 issued on November 7, 2023.

The Potent Blood Fountain in Diablo IV spawns Potent Blood, a new form of currency that players can earn by slaying vampires and use to upgrade and unlock their vampiric powers. However, players have reported a bug where the Potent Blood spawns in the center of the fountain and is unreachable.

Due to this bug, players can’t collect the blood and improve their powers. While veteran players with a sufficient amount of potent blood won’t be significantly affected by the issue, new players may face challenges due to the bug.

Seeing the growing number of reports, the devs at Blizzard have issued an official statement saying they are looking into them and will fix them with a hotfix in the upcoming days. However, until they issue the fix, they have suggested some workarounds.

Until the team fixes the issue with an upcoming hotfix, they have suggested that teleporting to town and back can make the fountain disappear and allow players to pick up the Potent Blood.

Other than this, some players shared a few workarounds that they found:

1. Barbarians can use the Leap skill from one side of the fountain to the other and collect the potent blood from the center of the fountain.
2. If players keep trying, they can potentially pick up the blood from the lower-left corner of the fountain.

These workarounds can provide temporary or conditional solutions. There is no official release date for the fix, but according to Blizzard, the hotfix will be released soon.
