In recent weeks, Twitter has been one of the main topics of conversation in the technology industry. After all, Elon Musk is now the new owner after a bumpy negotiation process.

From the beginning, Musk announced that the platform will receive big changes in the short, medium and long term. However, the ‘core’ of Twitter will remain the same: a microblogging and trending social network.

The opinions of Twitter users have been divided. Some fear changes that may come in the future or that the platform will take a different path, so they prefer to delete or deactivate their Twitter accounts.

Although there are users in favor of the new Twitter administration, there are also others who, for one reason or another, are against it.

Among the reasons given by users who are dissatisfied with the new Twitter owner are political tendencies, the payment of the verification check or the recent layoffs, among others.

In fact, these disgruntled users have been actively looking for some alternative platform to ‘move to’ that offers a similar experience.
