Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei that brings devices specifically targeted at youths. The young brand has been quite successful in this role and has been able to capture its fair share in today’s competitive market.

Matter of fact, according to a report by Counterpoint Research, Huawei (including Honor brand) leads the Chinese smartphone market share growing to 36% in Q2 of 2019.

The likes of other Chinese brands like OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Meizu etc. are way behind in terms of market share in their home region. Besides, Honor is one of the fastest brands here in India.

Honor is also decent when it comes to pushing out security and firmware updates. Moreover, in a recent development, Honor has pushed the September security update for the Honor 9 Lite and 10 Lite.

Not only this, the Honor Watch Magic is reportedly also receiving a new update, that brings in the multiple fixes. Let us take a look at the update one by one.

Honor 9 Lite

Talking about the update on the Honor 9 Lite, it carries the version number 9.1.0.134 and weighs in around 208 MB in size. Make sure that you use a stable network connection for downloading the update.

Matter of fact, Honor 9 Lite received a intermediate optimization update in September as well. Below is the official changelog of the latest update and the screenshot of the same:

Honor 10 Lite

Another Honor smartphone that gets ticked off from the list of Honor devices receiving September update, is the Honor 10 Lite. The latest update bumps the version number from 9.1.0.267 to 9.1.0.275.

The update is smaller in size and weighs only about 95.86 MB in size and won’t be heavy on your mobile internet connection or WiFi.

Honor Watch Magic

The smartwatch and fitness band section of Huawei is also pretty healthy and the company pushes timely updates for optimization and security patches as well.
