[Updated] Hogwarts Legacy 'The Daedalian Keys' quest bug (house tokens disappearing or missing) acknowledged

Since its release, Hogwarts Legacy became an instant hit, drawing the attention of both current Wizarding World fans and new audiences alike.

However, the game still has some issues to correct. For instance, players getting stuck on quests (as in “Percival Rackham’s” one), textures not loading, among others.

Now, there’s a new Hogwarts Legacy bug where ‘The Daedalian Keys’ quest is impossible to complete because the house tokens are disappearing or missing.

To complete ‘The Daedalian Keys’ quest, players must load or deposit 16 house tokens or keys to open a chest. They can deposit the tokens as they find them (it is not necessary to deposit them all at once).

But, multiple reports indicate that the house tokens are ‘vanishing’ after being deposited. When the players return to deposit more, the ones that were loaded before are gone.

Frankly, I’m a little pissed. I’ve collected 9 of the house tokens and placed them in the chest. Upon starting the game up today after the recent update, they are all missing! Like wtf?? Anyone else having this issue?

Tokens gone missing: Dandelion Key Quest

I had 15/16 of my tokens in my house chest (Ravenclaw), finally found the last dandelion key, collected the final token, and proceeded to my house’s chest. I pressed X to place the token, and it is here where I noticed that only one token was displayed.

The quest log claims I’ve collected all tokens, but the house chest only shows 1 token.

According to reports, the latest game update brought this bug. Players who had deposited some tokens to open the chest noticed that they disappeared after installing the latest version.

Furthermore, the bug even ‘sealed’ the chest for those players who completed the quest before updating the game. Normally, the chest should stay open permanently after opening it.

Fortunately, the WB Games support team is already investigating the bug, although there is no ETA for a fix yet.
