Harry Potter Wizards Unite Diagon Alley purchase issue on iOS officially acknowledged

Harry Potter Wizards Unite is a fairly new game, and the first major event for the game ‘Brilliant event’ made its entry on July 3. The Brilliant event features a variety of tasks including returning higher level foundables, collecting from inns, unlocking portkeys and many more.

But while completing the Brilliant Event task, the Harry Potter Wizards Unite players are finding a strange issue with Diagon Alley. Many players who are trying to make a purchase through Diagon Alley are getting a black page that freezes for a while then app returns back to the previous screen.

Many players using Apple devices have reported on this issue on platforms like Reddit and the official community forum. This issue has been noticed by Harry Potter Wizards Unite team, and they are currently investigating the issue.

This issue has been reported by users who are running Apple OS version 12.3.1 on their devices. As per the initial reports, there is some issue with the latest version of Apple’s iOS and the game.

Not Able to Make Purchase Through Diagon Alley

Even players who have enough coins are not able to make a purchase through Diagon Alley. Many players even tried to delete and re-install the game, but it did not work for them. However, players who have switched to other Apple devices, like iPads or other Apple phones, seem to have resolved the issue.

The good news is that the Official Community Website has addressed this issue and they are currently working on its fix. In an official statement on July 4, HPWUMICAH, the admin for the Harry Potter Wizards Unite community website, has confirmed the awareness of the issue.

In his official statement, he mentioned the following:

We are aware of an issue affecting purchasing for some iOS users. Users experiencing this issue will not be able to load the Diagon Alley screen. Our team is working with Apple on a solution to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
