However, along with the thrill of diving into the wizarding world, some players have encountered frustrating bugs that prevent them from progressing in the game (1,2,3,4,5,6).

Two notable issues include players being unable to leave their dorms or rooms and quests failing to appear leaving them stuck in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened.

Instead of embarking on exciting adventures and freely exploring the enchanting world of magic, players find themselves confined within the four walls of their dormitory or room.

This bug effectively traps them in a single location, preventing any progress or movement forward within the game. The only option players get is to go duel in the dueling club.

Another recurring problem that has plagued players is the sudden absence of quests. These vital missions drive the narrative and provide players with a sense of purpose and progression.

However, some players have reported that quests fail to appear, leaving them in a state of confusion and uncertainty.

Can you fix the bug in the duel room? I couldn’t even start the story because of that bug, I don’t leave the starting room because I don’t get the missions or anything.

I’ve got my wand and owl at the start of the game, but yhe quest tracker still wants me to talk to hagrid before going into ollivanders and i cant do anything else. Is there any way around this, or even to just reset and start again?

The developers at WB Games have acknowledged some potential factors contributing to quests not appearing issue. It seems local restrictions, such as age verification, have been cited as a possible cause.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us about regarding getting stuck in the dueling room! In some cases there may be account restrictions based on local regulations on mobile games, and we’d suggest checking out any information regarding, based on your local area. Thank you!

Certain regions may have specific regulations that prevent the display of certain quests to players who do not meet the required age criteria.

This limitation aims to ensure compliance with local laws and protect underage players from accessing inappropriate content.

As for the ‘unable to leave dorms’ bug, it appears to be an issue that carried over from the beta version of the game (1,2). It seems that the developers were unable to resolve it in time for the global release.

However, support has urged affected players to submit bug reports, enabling the development team to investigate the issue more thoroughly and work towards finding a solution.

Potential workaround

While waiting for the developers to address quests not appearing issue, here’s a workaround:
