Google Workspace was announced back in October last year as a rebrand of G Suite.

It emphasized on a revamped approach to office-less productivity. As part of these changes, all of Google’s Workspace apps also got some fresh icons.

Unfortunately, a new issue has emerged out of nowhere along with all these changes. Going by the complaints, many users are being locked out of their Google Workspace account without any reason.

Your Google Workspace account has been suspended and will soon be closed – even though I use it

Users [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] say that they are unable to login into their Google Workspace accounts as Google continues to think that the logins are being done in an unauthorized manner.

Moreover, many others are receiving mails from Google stating that their “account has been suspended and will soon be closed.” Such mails continue even after continually logging into the Google Workspace account.

But what makes the matter worse is the fact that support can’t be directly reached as this facility is limited to paid accounts. Therefore, users with free accounts have seemingly got the forums as their only resort.

Thankfully, there is an easy solution for the issue that has done the job for many and there’s a good chance of it working out well for you too.

It involves reaching out to Google through the form given in this link. The form seems to be the best way to seek redressal when facing trouble accessing or resetting the password of your existing admin account.

Following its submission, you should receive a mail from Google Workspace Support. Just reply back to that email describing your issue, and if all goes well, a support rep will help sort out the problem.

That said, be sure to inform us in the comments below if this piece helped resolve your issue.
