Many Google Search users are suffering from an annoying spam problem related to AliExpress pages.

According to multiple user reports, the results obtained in Google Search are full of fake pages that redirect to AliExpress when opened.

Google Search results redirecting to AliExpress issue

Reports indicate that, for many users, the majority of Google Search results are fake websites that aim to redirect the user to the Chinese e-commerce platform (1, 2).

Hi. I have discovered that 99% of search results redirect me to AliExpress. They all are fake online stores.
by searching “cnc darbarīki urbji” from .lv domains. Almost all of the search results take me to a fake and probably generated online store that instantly redirects me to AliExpress product. This makes search results pretty much useless as this continuous for pages. Someone has generated many websites that pretend to sell products, but when the user goes to that website, it redirects the user to AliExpress getting commission for that. That’s massive SEO abuse and something needs to be done about that. Hopefully gets noticed.

An alleged abuse in SEO would be the cause

The problem appears to be caused by an abuse in the Google Search SEO system. And, users suspect that the fake pages would be generated automatically by bots for redirection to Aliexpress.

Hi, if I search in my language (Slovak) words like “dsi I2C dotykový” many results are Slovak domain pages redirecting to Aliexpress, like – jitrade*sk, avenue-restaurant*sk, java-servis*sk, maringota*sk, leria*sk, falkoms*sk. But, from name of registered domain it’s obvious that those pages are not eshop. So, my question is, why “G” don’t filter redirecting results, or why Bing didn’t show those fake eshops?
Thanks.

The fake pages reportedly present an evident very poor translation. So, that reinforces the suspicions that they are pages generated automatically by bots.

Same happens in Slovenian search results. It’s polluted with Aliexpress (and other) redirect links, over domains that were registered in Slovenia, but have content generated by some bot, using Google transalte (It’s very poor translation), but obviously good enogh content for Google algorythms to not detect the junk content. And, this renders Google search results almost unusable.

Google should come up with some solution, because this happens for almost 6 months now.
