Pixel enthusiasts are in for a treat this December as Google opens the doors to its King’s Cross HQ for a limited number of superfans. The tech giant has announced an exclusive opportunity for 40 lucky members of the Pixel Superfan community to take a peek behind the curtain at the inner workings of one of its esteemed offices. Set to take place on December 5, the event promises an exciting lineup of activities, including immersive tours, live interviews, and hands-on demonstrations of the latest Google devices.

Conditions to be invited for Google’s King’s Cross location tour

To secure a chance at being selected for this rare opportunity, Google has requested interested participants to submit a photo taken with their Pixel smartphone, accompanied by relevant context. Furthermore, contestants are urged to articulate the significance of visiting the prestigious King’s Cross location. Android Police reports that the details were shared via an email to insiders. So if you’re interested in touring Google’s King’s Cross HQ, I’d suggest get going with the necessary steps before it’s too late.

Apart from the allure of exclusive events and the latest Pixel news, the Pixel Superfan community provides additional advantages, such as access to referral codes that can potentially reduce costs when purchasing new Google devices. Although the community has gained considerable popularity, it remains open to all, with no membership fees attached.

More on Pixel Superfans in the UK

Earlier this year, Google extended the Pixel Superfan program to the UK, making it the second region where Google brought its Pixel Superfan experience. While the submission form was hosted on Google Store’s UK site, the eligibility criteria remained consistent, barring Google/Alphabet employees, press members, and government officials from joining. However, the application process in the UK was abruptly halted without prior notice, with Google promising to reopen the opportunity in the near future.

Back in April, we also reported that fans were unhappy about Google requiring interested users to have a Facebook account to join the Superfan community. So it’s clear Google still has a few kinks to work out in its Pixel Superfan initiative, the biggest of these being expanding its benefits to other countries too.
