Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro now more affordable in Canada

There are a variety of offers on the Google Pixel 8 series going on in Canada right now on Google Store, Amazon and Bell. Here’s the breakdown of each individual deals and offers.

The standard Pixel 8 boasts a starting price of CAD 749 ($550) for the 128GB variant, available in Mint, Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose colorways. Upgrading to the 256GB storage option increases the price to CAD 829 ($609), offered in Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose.

For those seeking the more feature-rich Pixel 8 Pro, the starting price sits at CAD 1,099 ($808) for the 128GB model. This variant comes in Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain color options. Storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB are also available, priced at CAD 1,179 ($867) and CAD 1,349 ($992) respectively, with both maintaining the same color choices as the 128GB model.

These price reductions are not the only incentive for potential buyers. Google is offering a compelling Google One promotion with the purchase and activation of a Pixel 8 or 8 Pro. This offer is valid for new Google One users only and expires on December 16, 2024.

Furthermore, a separate promotion grants new users access to YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium for free for a limited time. This offer also has a December 16, 2024 expiry date.

Amazon Canada is also offering the Pixel 8 for the same starting price of CAD 749 ($550) for the 128GB version, with the 256GB variant priced slightly higher at CAD 829.96 ($610). Color options at Amazon mirror those available at Google’s store. The Pixel 8 Pro at Amazon follows suit with a starting price of CAD 1,099.96 ($809) for the 128GB model, increasing to CAD 1,179.96 ($993) for the 256GB option.

Carrier options are also available in Canada, with Bell offering the Google Pixel 8 for a starting price with a device payment plan. Their plans begin at CAD 10.05 ($7.39) per month for 24 months with no down payment and 0% APR. This effectively reduces the overall cost of the device by CAD 628 ($461) over the 24-month period.

The Pixel 8 Pro at Bell starts at a slightly higher monthly payment plan cost of CAD 30.59 ($22.50), but again comes with no down payment and 0% APR. This plan reduces the overall cost of the Pixel 8 Pro by CAD 615 ($452) over the 24 months.
