There are multiple threads on the Google Support community where users have been reporting that their Nest Hub units have the screen burn-in problem.

Also, there are even reports that indicate that the Nest Hub screen resolution and colors are not appearing properly.

Based on the large amount of such reports, it seems that the issue is widespread and needs to be addressed as such.

Nevertheless, there has been no official acknowledgement on the matter from Google so far and users are still awaiting a proper resolution.

Moreover, it is unclear whether the problem is indeed related to hardware or is mere software bug that can be fixed by the generic troubleshooting which is being given to users individually.

A Product Expert on the Google Support community has assured that there are no worries of screen burn-in as the screen is designed to stay on for a long time.

Another thing to note is that the issue has been around for quite some time as there are reports that date back to early 2019.

Google Nest Hub has a considerable number of users and problems like this does matter when it comes to user experience.

Hopefully, Google comes up with an explanation for the screen burn-in issue and provides users with a proper resolution soon.
