Google Nest Doorbell Camera users are reporting that they are unable to stream the live feed to their Nest displays.
This issue has led to a less than optimal user experience for several Nest Doorbell Camera owners.
The lack of a live feed hinder users’ ability to quickly assess who is at their doorstep, hence defeating one of the primary purposes of having a doorbell camera.
Google Nest Doorbell Camera unable to stream live feed
According to reports, when the doorbell is pressed, users get a notification that ‘someone’s at the door’.
However, when they go to check the feed, they get a ‘camera feed is not available’ error on their Nest displays.
Notifications on users’ smartphones still work, suggesting a communication issue between the Nest Doorbell Camera and Nest displays.
This is a major inconvenience for homeowners who rely on this technology for security, as they are unable to see who is at the door when it rings.
Interestingly, when users ask the Nest Hub to display the live video, it works fine. Apparently, this issue has been going on for some weeks.
Suddenly when someone rings my nest wired doorbell, the camera feed is not available on my Nest Hyb max, if i ask it to show me the front door it will work but not when someone rings.
