Google Maps has established itself as a trusted companion for millions of users worldwide, providing accurate navigation and location-based services.

It offers many features and functions that make it easy and convenient to find directions, get traffic updates, discover nearby attractions, and more.

Google Maps Are you here missing

However, some users have reported that they are unable to use one of the most basic and essential features of Google Maps: the ‘Are you here’ feature.

Several users have noticed that when they tap on a location, the ‘Are you here’ option, which is supposed to appear, is missing. Normally, this option allows users to confirm their arrival at a specific house or office.

However, in these instances, the prompt fails to show up as expected. This is quite frustrating as users are unable to keep a track of locations that they visited.

Interestingly, users have mentioned that the ‘Are you here’ prompt only appears if they have been to a particular location before. If they are visiting a new place, the option does not pop up.

Users have indicated that this issue has been persisting for a few weeks. It is not an isolated incident but has affected multiple individuals over an extended period.

Google Maps stopped asking me where I am. There is no record of the visit on that day.

Same issues with Google Maps here. “Are you here now” is missing, Maps not recognizing Home or Work locations. Timeline in general lagging behind when it used to pick up spots fast if I stopped somewhere for several minutes.

Despite attempting troubleshooting methods such as clearing cache and data and verifying location settings, the issue persists.
